Notice on the use of cookies and device storage technologies, provided in accordance with Article 122 of the Privacy Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003) and the Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority on 10 June 2021.
Cookies are small files that a website stores on the user’s device and which the browser sends back to the website on subsequent visits. The same rules apply to other tools that store or read information on the device — such as localStorage — and to techniques that allow the user to be recognised passively.
The legislation distinguishes between only two categories relevant for the purposes of consent:

All the resources required for the pages — style sheets, scripts, fonts, images, libraries — are hosted on the diginetic.it domain. The user’s browser does not contact any third-party servers whilst browsing the site: therefore, no user IP address is disclosed to parties other than the Data Controller simply as a result of visiting a page.
The Data Controller measures visits to the site — pages viewed, origin, country, network organisation, unique visitors and the path of each visit — but does so entirely on the server side and without cookies: nothing is installed or read in the browser, no measurement scripts are executed and no data is disclosed to third parties. Article 122 of the Privacy Code concerns the storage of information on the user’s device or access to information stored there: neither of these occurs here, so no consent is required and the conclusion of §1 remains unchanged. The processing of data obtained from the request (including the IP address, which is used but not stored) is governed by the GDPR and is described in the privacy policy, §2.1.
Article 122 of the Privacy Code requires prior consent only for tools that are not technical. As the site uses only technical session cookies and a language preference set by the user, there is no processing for which consent is required. Indeed, the Data Protection Authority’s Guidelines of 10 June 2021 require that unnecessary consent not be sought and prohibit the use of banners that restrict access to content (cookie walls).
If, in future, the Data Controller introduces tools that require consent, these will be blocked until consent is freely given; a compliant banner will be displayed (offering the option to refuse just as easily as to accept, and to withdraw consent at any time); and this privacy notice will be updated prior to activation.
You can delete cookies and data stored by the website at any time, or prevent them from being installed, by adjusting your browser settings:
Deleting the session cookie will log you out of the Client Area; deleting the preferredLang cookie will reset the site to the default language. Browsing the public pages is not affected in any way.
